4 Votes: I’m interested!

The talk covers a 30-years evolution of widget toolkits, which took place along with the historical changes in a desktop GUI. Architecture specifics, API, visual styles and user experience are compared. Alongside the source code fragments, live demo of the appropriate GUI is shown with use of virtual machines, embedded into the presentation slides instead of screenshots.
